Organic Upholstered Wood Foundation
Designed to be used with our latex mattresses, but not required if you have a slatted bed frame. The Upholstered Wood Slat Foundation provides extra support for our heirloom quality heavier mattresses and is 9" High. Solid wood slats are upholstered following traditional European design and covered our quilted organic cotton ticking. Our foundations comply with FR1633 and are fitted with metal corner guards to prevent corner damage and give our beds a finished look.
Don't have a bed frame? No problem add bed legs to your new foundations. We offer Universal Bedlegs' products made from recycled plastic. Sold in black only and in 4 different heights!
A Foundation is commonly called a Box Spring and some bed frames require a Foundation so the mattress gets the proper support and height.
